DHR Horses - Macy

Breed: Saddle Horse Age: 9 Height: 15.1 H Gender: Mare

Macy entered DHR at the beginning of 2014 due to a neglect case and was later determined to be in foal. While in the care of DHR, she was rehabilitated and able to deliver a healthy foal in April. We are currently unaware if Macy is broke to ride or not, however we have saddled her and she accepted with ease. She showed no signs of distress and it did not appear to be a new task for her. Macy's foal will be weaned in October, 2014. Once weaned, we will begin working with Macy more to determine rideability. Macy has such a sweet and gentle nature, we do not expect her to give us much challenge. If she is as sweet under saddle as she is on the ground, Macy will make an excellent mount for any stage rider.
